About the Role

The Contracts and Procurement Advisor will provide procurement and contracts advice and services to support the company's global procurement activities. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for Head Office, DeGrussa, and assigned global exploration activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, issue, and evaluate requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for quotations (RFQs), and tenders.
  • Perform supplier evaluations, assessments, and due diligence.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal requirements.
  • Liaise between internal teams and suppliers during contract negotiations and execution.
  • Manage renewals, terminations, and amendments to contracts.
  • Maintain records of contracts and related documents in the company contract repository.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support on procurement and contract management practices.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with Sandfire's Global Procurement and Suppliers Standard and applicable policies and procedures.

About You

  • 6+ years' experience in contracts and/or procurement position, ideal within the mining sector.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience in procurement processes, contract negotiation, and management.
  • Experience working in a group structure organization.
  • Experience in sustainable procurement or ethical sourcing practices.
  • Attention to detail and the willingness to raise and resolve issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
