Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our supportive team at Mandurah Community Aged Care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced PCA who wants to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

About The Role:
  • Provide daily personal care and support to residents, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff, providing clear information and responding to queries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Maintain privacy and handle feedback or changes sensitively, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards residents and their loved ones.

The successful candidate will be required to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights, as well as weekdays and weekends for permanent part-time roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Recent National Police Check (issued within 12 months)
  • Genuine empathy and strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • A passion for continuous learning and improvement, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care and services.
