Job Overview

Mandurah Community Aged Care is a Not-for-Profit organisation with an exciting opportunity for Graduate Registered Nurses to start their career in aged care.

We are currently seekingGraduate Registered Nurses to join our developed Graduate Nurse Program at our state of the art Aged Care residence based in Mandurah.

Our goal is to maintain and enhance the health and well-being of our residents while offering them dignity, safety, and independence.

We offer a supportive environment with dedicated and experienced clinical teams on-site, a graduate nurse program coordinator to guide and support you along the way and a structured 12-month graduate nurse program covering a range of comprehensive clinical and development orientation models designed to develop and support you in your first year as a graduate nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work culture that prioritises the well-being of staff and residents alike

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • Less than 12 months of post-registration clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
  • An understanding of the professional, ethical, and legal requirements as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
