Logistics Coordinator

As a coordinator for logistics and site operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and administration of integrated logistics and civil design for the Macquarie Island Station Project.
This project will establish a new research station on Macquarie Island, supporting ongoing science and conservation efforts. You will need to have demonstrated experience in logistics or operational management, particularly in site establishment for complex and remote construction projects.
A key member of the project team, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including the Operations and Logistics Branch, Environmental Management & Infrastructure Delivery sections. The ability to produce high-quality briefings and plans for key stakeholders and decision makers is desirable.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in logistics or operational management, particularly in site establishment for complex and remote construction projects.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with a multi-disciplined team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
In this role, you will gain valuable experience working across different branches of the Australian Antarctic Division and contributing to the delivery of a major infrastructure project.
