Job Overview

A Automation Developer is responsible for developing, configuring and testing RPA assets using Blue Prism. This role involves working directly with stakeholders to automate processes and enhance existing automated processes.

">About the Role
  • Developing, configuring and testing RPA assets using Blue Prism in adherence with development & design standards within agreed timeframes
  • Thorough unit testing of all aspects of automation development
  • Assisting stakeholders with User Acceptance Testing
  • Accurate documentation that captures the automated process and all technical aspects of the solution
  • Ensure that all aspects of solutions delivered adhere to best practice methodology, design standards, risk frameworks and company policies
  • Proactively raising all risks and issues
  • Performing technical feasibility assessments
  • Working with stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding of their business requirements and the delivery of quality, fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Investigating better practices and alternative solutions that better suit stakeholder needs
  • Attending meetings with stakeholders that relate to the current build/project and actively contributing where required
  • Providing timely updates to stakeholders and Automation Manager
  • Active contribution to the RPA development and design standards and COE best practices
  • Identifying and suggesting improvements to existing automated processes
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, IT, engineering, computer science, data science or other relevant disciplines
  • Experience in delivering robotics automation initiatives
  • Experience managing stakeholders including international-based stakeholders
  • Experience and/or professional certification with Blue Prism
  • Experience and/or certification in other platforms such as UIPath, Automation Anywhere is desirable
  • Experience with intelligent automation / complementary technologies and integration with RPA
  • Experience MS Office software, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience in working with other programming languages is desirable
  • Excellent problem-solving and solution design capability
  • Willingness to learn and become an expert in RPA and other automation technologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations
  • Adaptability to new challenges, an agile mindset, self-starting and engaging
  • Teamwork oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
