About the Role

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Teacher to fill a Full Time, Permanent Teaching role with a 12-month, Fixed-Term Appointment as Acting Pastoral Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the mission of the College through effective leadership in supporting students as College and community members.
  • Lead the Pastoral Team in promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes and achievement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide high-quality teaching and learning programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, teachers, and staff to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
