About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher to join our team at Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa. As a full-time, permanent position, this role will commence on 20 January 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in Engineering and Junior Wood/Metalwork
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and achievements
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in teaching and learning
Requirements
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
