We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher (English) to join our vibrant school community at Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in January 2025, offering a competitive salary range and a range of benefits.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English to students in Years 7-12
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic excellence
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
- Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
