
Expand Your Business Development Expertise

We are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Associate to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding our reach with both new and existing clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a broad base knowledge of the institutional investment industry.
- Conduct outbound prospecting to qualify new business leads and identify growth opportunities
- Partner with senior sales team members to schedule meetings with new prospects, set up meetings with existing strategic accounts to identify cross-selling opportunities, and manage client feedback calls
- Meet designated prospecting and meeting targets through cold calling and other lead generation efforts
- Assist in the development of marketing materials and client presentations
- Develop a working knowledge of primary research methods, the competitive landscape, and the institutional investment industry investment process and investment strategies
Requirements:
- Recognised Bachelor's degree from a tertiary institution
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Broad base knowledge of the sales process from lead generation to relationship management
- Excellent communicator capable of handling high-profile clients across different industry sectors
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere that is fast-paced as well as results-oriented
- Desire to work in a sales/lead generation role that is KPI and metrics-driven
