Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Client Portfolio Manager to lead our Insurance business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships to drive growth and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client expectations by providing regular updates and participating in steering review meetings.
- Identify strategic initiatives that help clients achieve their goals and drive transformational programs.
- Provide thought leadership and innovation in managing strategic customers.
- Strategize and create a blueprint for increased mindshare and wallet share in respective market segments/portfolio.
- Drive growth and customer satisfaction in the accounts/portfolio.
- Negotiate commercial terms of engagement.
- Responsible for managing the P&L of portfolio, business planning/budgeting.
- Work with delivery teams and third-party vendors to ensure project risks are minimized, and project goals are met.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in account management, insurance domain, Superannuation domain, business development activities in IT service industry with proven track record in managing global and local insurance clients.
- Seasoned business development professional with excellent track record in managing, retaining and developing businesses.
- Strong knowledge of technology and business segments within financial services sector.
- Strong connects to senior business and technology leadership in Insurance accounts.
- Thorough domain knowledge with awareness/expertise in latest digital innovations in insurance industry.
- Knowledge of leading Insurance IT Products in market and ability to build partnership ecosystem with vendors and Insurtech.
- Experience working on onsite/offshore model.
- Experience in large IT project implementations with good awareness of tools and technologies used in large scale business.
- Practitioner mindset towards engaging senior level executives in transformation solutions.
- Strategic thinking, confident and ability to plan ahead and stay course.
- Proven track record of improving business performance and winning deals.
- Ability to navigate large organization, work in multi-dimensional matrix and have power of persuasion through content and confidence.
- Ability to work with multicultural and geographically distributed teams. Should be team person and able to lead different teams to common goal.
- Strong negotiation, communication and facilitation skills.
