Support Worker Role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. Our organisation prioritises care for individuals with disabilities, providing a personalised service that takes the time to listen and understand their needs.

We focus on growing while providing person-centred support. Strong relationships are the foundation of individually designed plans that help our Participants meet their life goals.

About You

You will be working up to 38 hours weekly, including weekends, as part of a varied 24/7 roster. Opportunities for permanency are available for the right staff who demonstrate dedication, flexibility, experience and commitment to our Participants.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • COVID-19 vaccinations - including booster
  • Medication Certificate
  • Manual Handling certificate
  • National Police check - gained within the last 3 months
  • NDIS Worker Screening check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificates
  • COVID-19 Infection Control Training
  • Unrestricted access to a vehicle
  • Full drivers licence

Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred supports for Participants in age-appropriate activities and tasks
  • Supporting Participants to access activities and outings in the community
  • Providing direct personal care assistance for all Participants as directed by their Team leader
  • Working in accordance with medication administration policy, work health and safety procedures and Participants rights policies
  • Ensuring completion of appropriate documentation
  • Participating in Performance Development to identify ongoing training and support opportunities
  • Actively contributing to a team environment through open communication
