As one of our Home Care workers you will have the pivotal role of providing in-home and community support to Australian Seniors so that they can continue to stay in their own homes living their way.

Working in the Sunshine Coast, as one of our Home Care workers you will be matched with clients to support them to achieve their goals and continue living the way they want. At Caring Your Way we believe that relationships are central to everything we do. Once we have matched clients and workers you will become part of their team. We don't assign workers randomly to clients, once you are on a client's team you will journey with them for as long as you are both happy to do so.

As a Caring Your Way Home Care worker you may be called upon to support clients in a variety of ways:

- Housekeeping - any support the client requires in and around their home, including cleaning; laundry; meal preparation; shopping on their behalf; in-home respite; or even helping them weed the garden.
- Lifestyle - any support the client requires in and around their community, including shopping with them; attending appointments; visiting family and friends; maybe even going to bowls or the pokies.
- Personal Assistance - any support the client requires with showering; grooming; dressing; hoist and medication assistance (for suitably qualified staff)

Through these supports you will make a real difference in the lives of Senior Australians and their families by enabling them to continue to live where they want and how they want.

To be a Caring Your Way Home Care support worker you will need to have the following:

- An ABN
- Minimum Cert 3 in Aged/Community Care, or Disability care or similar
- A National positive Police/Criminal Clearance (or ability to gain before commencement
- A valid Queensland Drivers License
- A reliable motor vehicle (there is no way you can do this work via public transport)
- A demonstrated understanding of and compassion for the needs of older people as they age.
- An active Smart Phone
- A positive can-do attitude
- The physical ability to undertake the required work

**Job Types**: Casual, Subcontract

Pay: $50.00 - $52.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)
