Make a positive impact in the Limestone Coast region by promoting sustainable land management practices. This role involves working with farmers and land managers to deliver workshops, events, and activities that improve knowledge and uptake of climate-smart practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide extension services to the agricultural sector to improve knowledge and uptake of climate-smart practices.
  • Facilitate the understanding of carbon and biodiversity markets among stakeholders.
  • Work closely with members of the Sustainable Landscapes team to deliver on the LC Landscape Board's priorities.
  • Develop and implement programs to promote sustainable farming outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current minimum class C driver's licence and willingness to drive.
  • The ability to participate in fire management or associated duties.
  • Flexibility to work out-of-hours and intrastate travel involving overnight absences from home may be required.
