About the Role

This is a casual position that requires you to manage and operate the Adelaide Parklands Terminal yard signalling system and authorise all train movements within the terminal. You will also be responsible for coordinating the shunting of rolling stock and rail movements within the terminal yard, assisting with refuelling of powervan carriages and locomotives, overseeing and coordinating the arrival and departure of all JBRE trains at the terminal, operating the JBRE train wash facility, monitoring and managing the movements of staff, contractors and visitors within the terminal platform areas and yard, authorising contractor and visitor entry within the terminal yard, and using computerised train management systems to process and issue operational documentation for PN train crews and relevant personnel.

About You

You will require awareness and knowledge of Australian Standard Railway Safety Management and Rail National Code of Practice. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A high level of safety awareness and commitment to following procedures is essential.
