What You'll Do:
As a Rigid Heavy Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for running Heavy Rigid combinations, conducting thorough pre-trip inspections, and ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant. You will also be required to accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation, while complying with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations.
Requirements:
This role requires a valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years' recent Australian driving experience. You must have experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers, and a sound knowledge of the local areas of Melbourne. A full 5-year demerit point history report and completion of Visy Practical Driver Assessment are also required. Additionally, you must have excellent communication, time management skills, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
