Key Event Manager Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of business events across Australia.

Event Strategy Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement event strategies that align with the organization's business goals and brand.
  • Plan and execute events, including executive roundtables, lunch and learns, customer peer groups, and solution-focused workshops.
  • Oversee event budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage venue selection, vendor negotiations, catering, AV setup, travel arrangements, and technical requirements.
  • Develop event-related content, including invitations, promotional materials, and social media campaigns.
  • Lead on-site event execution, managing logistics, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.
  • Evaluate event success, gather feedback, and provide reports with recommendations for future improvements.
Requirements:
  • Proven expertise in event coordination, including managing multiple high-profile events simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse teams, clients, and vendors.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset to address challenges as they arise.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing event budgets.
  • Proficiency with event management tools is a plus.
Qualifications:
  • A degree or diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • B2B events experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a senior event coordination role or similar experience.
