Project Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to assume a leadership role in overseeing the delivery of a high-profile project, acting as Chief Resident Engineer during the execution phase.

About This Project Management Role
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Act as key point of contact for clients and monitor work being conducted by EPC contractors.
  • Lead client engagements under EPC contracts representing owners' interests.
  • Implement quality control procedures to meet required standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols preventing accidents and promoting personnel well-being.
  • Manage financial resources effectively, controlling costs and meeting targets.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with chartered status preferred.
  • Significant relevant years of experience as Project Director/Project Manager/Construction Manager in similar roles.
  • Previous experience working as an Owners Engineer will be advantageous.
  • Proven track record in delivering combined cycle gas turbine projects.
  • Local knowledge in Malaysia is beneficial.
