The Head of Modality plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operational management of imaging services provided by allied health professionals. This position is responsible for ensuring that all MRI equipment and accessory equipment are properly maintained and updated.

As a senior professional practitioner, the incumbent is responsible for providing complex and innovative medical imaging services with a high level of professional independence. The Head of Modality will work closely with the Chief Radiographer to ensure the smooth running of the service both during regular hours and when necessary after hours.
