Energy Storage Business Development Specialist

Drive business growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities in commercial and industrial sectors.
- Lead client engagements from initial discovery through to solution development and delivery.
- Evaluate sites and energy usage, collaborating with engineering teams to develop tailored storage solutions meeting both technical and commercial objectives.
- Support sales cycles including pricing strategies, contract terms, risk analysis and tender submissions.
- Nurture relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders to drive long-term business growth and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends and energy policies to inform strategic planning and enhance product positioning.
A successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (Renewable Energy, Power Systems or a related field) or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years' experience in sales, business development or technical sales roles within the energy storage or renewables sector.
- A solid understanding of battery energy storage systems, grid connection processes and power conversion technologies.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders and align solutions with commercial outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive and highly organized, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
