Underground Mining Operations Manager

As an Underground Production Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading and mentoring a crew to achieve set development targets. Prioritizing improvement opportunities and formulating innovative solutions are key aspects of this position.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to the development team
  • Support and mentor team members to address issues and progress assigned tasks
  • Assist in implementing change management initiatives and projects
  • Liaise with coordinators and operators regarding technical issues and operating parameters
Key Requirements:
  • A valid Western Australian Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency
  • Extensive experience in underground mechanized mining operations
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferably in gold mining
  • Experience in rapid lateral development, production, and haulage
  • Demonstrated planning and forecasting knowledge
