Gold Fields Australia is seeking Operator Truck Drivers to work underground at our Granny Smith operation. This opportunity is particularly aimed at Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people interested in advancing their careers.

Role Details

Reporting to the Supervisor: Underground, you will operate underground trucks safely and efficiently to meet operational requirements. Safety is a core value at Gold Fields, and all employees are expected to uphold this culture.

This role operates on a roster of 8 days on, 6 days off, including night shifts, with FIFO from Perth or DIDO for local community members.

Duties of the Role

  • Prepare and undertake tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
  • Assist with handovers and provide technical support to team members
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Operate machinery to meet production targets
  • Complete pre-start checks and ensure readiness for each shift
  • Accurately report activities using Pitram, including loading locations and materials

About You

  • Experience operating underground trucks in an underground environment
  • Understanding of machinery care and maintenance
  • Valid manual driver's license
  • Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights certifications are desirable
  • Enthusiastic about learning and growing within underground operations
