Business Contract Lead

This position revolves around overseeing existing contracts, ensuring compliance with supplier agreements, and supporting contract performance and risk management across various domains including WHS, sustainability, and Australian Industry Capability (AIC).
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement contract management frameworks, strategies, and/or plans to enhance overall performance.
- Establish and maintain contract performance metrics and compliance requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct or support reviews of supplier performance and compliance, including:
- Supplier self-assessments.
- Delivery of Australian Industry Capability (AIC) obligations.
- Adhere to Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and environmental and ecological sustainability standards.
- Active NV1 Security Clearance is mandatory; applicants without active clearance will not be considered.
- Proven experience in contract management within a complex, security-sensitive environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of contract compliance, supplier performance evaluation, and contract risk management is necessary.
- Experience with contract management systems and tools is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams is essential.
