Business Services Manager

A business advisory firm based in Melbourne is currently seeking an Accountant Manager to join its growing Business Services Division.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT or payroll tax returns for individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts.
• Expert utilisation of a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
• Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analysing financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performance
• Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery
• Manage the team training and mentoring with responsibilities to help grow the team's knowledge and contribute to the business as a whole.
• Managing multi-jurisdiction teams and coordination with other experts engaged in the project.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience within Business Advisory, with strong technical skills;
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar and CA / CPA Qualified;
• A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
• Expertise using accounting software including APS, MYOB and cloud-based tools e.g., Xero, QuickBooks;
• Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia.
