Safety Business Partner Opportunity

The key role of the Safety Business Partner is to lead and influence safety initiatives, building strong relationships with business teams to drive positive safety outcomes across multiple locations.

This position involves traveling across the region to connect with teams and foster a culture of safety.

The focus is on implementing an integrated safety business model, driving critical safety processes, and influencing key stakeholders to champion continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver work health and safety strategy in line with business objectives
  • Coach and support branch leaders to enhance health and safety performance
  • Contribute to incident investigations and risk assessments
  • Assist in the effective implementation and communication of health and safety policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with local legislation
  • Conduct audits and introduce new health and safety initiatives through training sessions

Requirements include a background in manufacturing/operations, understanding of WHS systems, and excellent communication and influencing skills.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate 4 or Diploma in Health and Safety
  • Proven experience in WH&S within an operational environment
  • Expertise in conducting risk assessments and leading incident investigations
  • Technical knowledge of WH&S business models
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
