About This Role

As a Home Care Worker, you will provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity.

You will assist with daily living tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship.

Your care will ensure clients feel safe, respected, and valued in the comfort of their own environment.

This is a casual opportunity based in the Illawarra region. You will need to have a valid NSW Driver's Licence, Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations, Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate, COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations.

Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance – Supporting with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Meal Preparation – Assisting with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
  • Personal Care Support – Helping with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
  • Social Engagement – Providing companionship and encouraging participation in social activities and community engagement.
  • Transport Services – Offering transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.

Essential Requirements
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
  • Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations.
  • Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations.
  • Basic computer and smartphone literacy.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community).
