Job Title: Support Worker

Job Description

This role involves providing support to participants in a Home & Living environment, ensuring their safety and well-being.

The successful candidate will be responsible for empowering participants to develop skills and achieve personal goals, while also assisting with daily tasks such as hygiene, meals, and household chores.

Key responsibilities include fostering inclusion through hobbies, social activities, and community events, creating a welcoming and supportive environment, recognizing and encouraging progress towards personal goals, and keeping accurate records to support high-quality care.

Additional responsibilities include being a trusted presence overnight to ensure safety and independence.

Requirements
  • Passionate about supporting people.
  • Inclusive and respectful of diversity and individuality.
  • Empathetic and able to build trust and relationships.
  • Flexible and committed to varied rosters, including active and/or sleepover shifts.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Qualified with CPR and First Aid Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
  • Driver's License and insured vehicle essential for supporting community engagement.
