As a Freight Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Logistics: Manage day-to-day freight forwarding tasks, including quoting, bookings, documentation, customs coordination, and issue resolution to meet customer expectations.
  • Freight Handling: Collaborate with warehouse, transport, and third-party vendors to support physical freight handling and ensure seamless service during peak periods or absences.
  • Data Entry: Enter and update data accurately in operational platforms to maintain efficient processes and compliance standards.
  • Invoicing and Costing: Assist with sales invoicing, costing, and closing out files to meet month-end timelines while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Communication: Communicate professionally with customers, internal teams, and logistics partners to uphold exceptional service standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to local and global compliance standards to protect the organization's reputation.

This role combines administrative precision with hands-on freight coordination. You'll contribute to ensuring freight moves safely, efficiently, and on time — while delivering outstanding customer experiences and meeting strict compliance requirements.

What You'll Bring to the Team
  • Freight Forwarding Experience: Have experience in freight forwarding operations (Air and/or Ocean preferred).
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of your work.
  • Operational Systems: Be confident working with operational systems (experience with similar software advantageous).
  • Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders to build strong relationships.
