Verantwoordelijkheden
  • Internationale samenwerking en afhandeling van rechtshulpverzoeken met Australië en Nieuw-Zeeland
  • Strategische rol in de internationale informatie-uitwisseling en berichtenverkeer
  • Verantwoordelijk voor een versnelde en verbeterde afhandeling van rechtshulpverzoeken en betrouwbare gegevensuitwisseling met opsporingsdiensten
  • Contact met betrekking tot diverse projecten en/of samenwerkingsprogramma's die we gezamenlijk oppakken op het vlak van internationaal georiënteerde criminaliteit
  • Belangenbehartiging van Nederland en strategische en beleidsmatige doelstellingen behalen
Werkomgeving

Je maakt deel uit van het Landelijk Internationaal Rechtshulpcentrum (LIRC) en werkt vanuit de Nederlandse ambassade in Canberra, Australië. Je hebt contact met de backoffice van het LIRC in Zoetermeer en werkt samen met een assistent(e) die jou in taal en cultuur ondersteunt.

Requirements
  • HBO werk- en denkniveau en een politiediploma op minimaal niveau 3
  • Minimaal enkele jaren ervaring op het terrein van internationaal georganiseerde criminaliteit en/of intelligence
  • Ervaring met beleidsmatige en/of buitenlandse programma's en projecten
  • Goede beheersing van het Engels (zowel mondeling als schriftelijk)
  • Kennis van rechtshulp
