Job Opportunity: Asset Optimisation Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as an Asset Optimisation Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering through-life asset management of Products being supported (PBS). Our Capability Life Cycle Manager (CLCM) team is responsible for providing end-to-end asset management services that ensure consistent delivery with predictable results.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification in a recognised related discipline, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project management within the Defence domain, and Asset Optimisation across maritime sustainment organisations including ILS and LSA optimisation.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Implementing and maintaining currency of the Asset Management Plan and procedures for delivery of integrated asset management activities in accordance with the CLCM contract.
  • Delivering and maintaining the integrated Asset Management Services Master Schedule
  • Directing the Reliability program, Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) program and Maintenance Effectiveness program within the ACS ACE LSA program and environment.
  • Contributing to the maintenance and improvement of the ACS ACE LSA environment
  • Directing and overseeing the development of Life Cycle Cost analyses, asset optimization studies and recommendations for cost reduction whilst maintaining agreed levels of platform reliability and availability.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, and be able to build and facilitate collaborative working relationships with all staff and stakeholders within the ACE in pursuit of an integrated approach to asset sustainment activities.
