Job Title: Asset Optimisation Manager

    Description

The Asset Optimisation Manager role is integrated into the System Program Office and contracted to deliver through-life asset management of Products being supported. The role performs asset, sustainment, and engineering functions to optimise availability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and minimise risk throughout the life cycle.

The Asset Optimisation Manager works collaboratively with Regional Maintenance Centre's to plan maintenance activities and installation of capability upgrades. The role also collaborates with the Design Services Contract to plan and execute engineering changes and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and maintaining currency of the Asset Management Plan and procedures for delivery of integrated asset management activities in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Delivering functions across the Asset Class Enterprise to support Defence Maritime Capability by implementing effective asset management strategies.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address potential risks and opportunities to improve asset performance and efficiency.
