Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Asset Optimisation Manager to lead our Asset Management Services team in delivering integrated asset management activities across a complex portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on defence domain and maritime sustainment organisations. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to drive cultural change and provide education to staff on asset management principles.

In this role, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of a robust Asset Management System by providing professional advice and technical recommendations as a subject matter expert.

Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining currency of the Asset Management Plan and procedures, directing the Reliability program, Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) program and Maintenance Effectiveness program within the ACS ACE LSA program and environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the integrated Asset Management Services Master Schedule
  • Oversee the development of Life Cycle Cost analyses, asset optimization studies and recommendations for cost reduction while maintaining agreed levels of platform reliability and availability
  • Build and facilitate collaborative working relationships with all staff and stakeholders within the ACE in pursuit of an integrated approach to asset sustainment activities
  • Drive Enterprise risk management and assurance activities across the Enterprise
  • Drive Capability Innovation and Efficiency initiatives and Sustainment Performance Analysis across the Enterprise
Requirements:
  • Degree, or equivalent, qualification in a recognised related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management within the Defence domain and Asset Optimisation across maritime sustainment organisations including ILS and LSA optimisation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with DSwMS Framework, Administration, and Technical Integrity of Maritime Materiel
