Energy Regulatory and Commercial Lawyer Opportunity

Norton Rose Fulbright is a global law firm with a Tier 1 energy practice, seeking an experienced Energy Regulatory and Commercial Lawyer to join our team.

We are looking for a lawyer with a strong background in energy regulatory, energy projects, or corporate and commercial energy law to support our clients across the entire energy value chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide energy markets and renewable energy regulatory advice and associated projects
  2. Support commercial contracting, including connection agreements, supply agreements, power purchase agreements, and novel contract structures for emerging business and project structures
  3. Contribute to energy-focused transactions

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years' PQE with predominant energy-market exposure and demonstrable experience in the National Electricity Market, gained either in-house or at a leading firm
  2. A passion for renewables and supporting organisations through the energy transition
  3. A desire to work on complex matters
  4. Strong commerciality, curiosity, and an enthusiastic and proactive attitude
  5. Outstanding attention to detail, analytical, and drafting skills
  6. Excellent communication skills, including client liaison
