Mechanical Supervisor

McConnell Dowell is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to lead our project team on the Groote Eylandt Wharf Remediation Project in the Northern Territory. This role plays a critical part in the successful delivery of a high-profile project for our client.
Key Responsibilities- Emphasize the importance of safe work practices and environmental protection to all employees and subcontractors.
- Identify and assess hazards, and implement control measures in consultation with relevant employees.
- Monitor and review the performance of plant, labour, and subcontractors to ensure production targets are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with relevant specifications, codes, and standards.
- Hold a trades qualification relevant to the construction or building industry.
- Have experience with marine projects, preferably.
- Proven ability to lead, direct, and manage diverse groups of employees.
- Strong knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage others.
- Commitment to the safety promise of 'Home Without Harm'.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
