Rope Access Supervisor

EnerMech is seeking a highly skilled Rope Access Supervisor to lead a small team of Rope Access Technicians.

This is a local role based at the LNG Plant in Darwin, Australia.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in rope access techniques, with a focus on safety and open communication.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the development and approval of lift and rescue plans
  • Managing EnerMech and client documents related to scope, RA reporting, and IRATA ICOP compliance
  • Conducting safety inspections and meetings
  • Assisting in planning, scheduling, and executing rope access load testing work scopes for the site team
  • Supervising all rope access and load testing activities performed by the team onsite
  • Liaising with clients on project progress and safety issues

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Rope Access Supervisor
  • Experience in the NDT, Mining, Oil & Gas Industry
  • Current IRATA Level 3 Rope Access
  • Advanced Rigging
  • Working at Heights (Valid within 2 years)
  • Confined Space Entry & Gas Test Atmospheres (Valid within 2 years)
  • First Aid
  • White Card

As part of the pre-employment process, the successful candidate must be able to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical (including drug and alcohol test).
