Project Supervisor

McConnell Dowell is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor to join our project team on a critical infrastructure project in the Northern Territory. This role plays a vital part in the successful delivery of the project, ensuring the safety of employees and subcontractors, and maintaining a strong focus on environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities- Emphasize the importance of safe work practices and environmental protection to all employees and subcontractors.
- Identify and assess hazards, and implement control measures in consultation with relevant employees.
- Monitor and review the performance of plant, labor, and subcontractors to ensure production targets are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with relevant specifications, codes, and standards.
- You hold a trades qualification relevant to the construction or building industry.
- You have experience with marine projects, although this is not essential.
- You possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to direct and manage diverse groups of employees.
- You have a sound working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HS&E) requirements and can implement them effectively.
- You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
- You are committed to the safety promise of 'Home Without Harm'.
- You hold valid working rights in Australia.
