Working in a laboratory setting requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills and the ability to follow established procedures.

This role involves performing various tests on samples of soil, water and air using conventional and instrumental methods such as GC, HPLC and ICP/MS.

  • Calibrating laboratory equipment

  • Updating skills and qualifications through courses and on-the-job training
  • Reporting unsafe work conditions or equipment to the supervisor

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Science, preferably in Chemistry
  • Experience in a general laboratory environment preferred
  • Flexibility with working hours and tasks
