Job Overview

The Commis Chef role involves preparing a variety of dishes in a high-volume production setting, adhering to cooking guidelines and standards. You will be responsible for collaborating with senior chefs to create culinary masterpieces that make a lasting impression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Execute food preparation tasks efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
  • Conduct temperature and quality checks to ensure WHS compliance and meet food safety regulations
Requirements

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Previous Commis Chef experience
  • Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Commercial Cookery
  • A solid background in kitchen operations
  • A passion for food and creative flair
  • Demonstrated track record meeting financial targets for food and labour costs
  • Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster
