About the Job

We're seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead our N2P project team in Cambridge, TAS. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will coordinate and manage a team of trade-based personnel supporting safe and efficient delivery of project-based construction activities.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in telecommunications, proven management skills, and ability to manage subcontractors while working collaboratively with a great team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Plan and prepare site works, including walk-outs, scoping, and scheduling to ensure well-organised construction activities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support teams on-site, working closely with subcontractors and colleagues to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Communication: Collaborate and communicate effectively, providing clear guidance, escalating issues when needed, and keeping clients and supervisors informed.
  • Safety, Quality, and Resources: Oversee HSE practices, check work standards, and ensure materials and equipment are available as needed.

  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant trade qualification with experience in a supervisory role.
  • Telecommunications Knowledge: Telecommunications (Telstra/NBN) knowledge advantageous.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel across the state.
