  • Inspire and uplift projects and programs from beginning to end — nurturing long-lasting client relationships and delivering outcomes that make a real difference.
  • Balance people and performance — bringing strategic thinking to budgets, timelines, and team wellbeing, while staying focused on shared success.
  • Connect with purpose — working closely with clients, councils, government bodies, and stakeholders to build trust and deliver on commitments.
  • Lead with empathy — supporting, mentoring, and guiding multidisciplinary teams so they feel valued and empowered to do their best work.
  • Drive project delivery with insight and integrity — overseeing business plans, budgets, and reporting with transparency and accountability.
  • Prioritise safety and sustainability — upholding Zinfra's HSE standards while fostering a culture of care and respect.
  • Champion collaboration — setting clear KPIs, planning resources mindfully, and encouraging open, inclusive communication across teams.
  • Bring your full self and expertise — using your knowledge in technical, commercial, and risk areas to design smart, scalable systems that support future success.

Experience:

  • A background in Electrical Trades (Lineworker or Electrician), with real-world experience working safely and effectively on site.
  • Formal Project Management training (Certificate or Diploma) with practical experience leading projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • A thoughtful, inclusive approach to risk, stakeholder engagement, and vendor relationships.
  • Solid technical knowledge of engineering or construction, grounded in best practice and ethical leadership.
  • A natural mentor — you're someone who shares knowledge generously and helps others grow.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft suite of applications (outlook, excel, project) tools like SAP, and confident navigating the commercial and contractual landscape.
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and an understanding of key legislative frameworks impacting utility work.
  • Proven ability delivering distribution or utility projects before — but most important is your ability to lead with clarity, compassion, and competence.
