Site Manager Position

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee our N2P project in Cambridge, TAS.

This role is ideal for someone with a background in telecommunications, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors while working alongside a great team of people in a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate site works – including walk-outs, scoping and scheduling to ensure construction activities run smoothly.
  • Lead and support teams on-site – working closely with subcontractors and colleagues to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively – providing clear guidance, escalating issues when needed, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and resources are adequately managed – overseeing HSE practices, checking work standards, and ensuring necessary materials and equipment are available.
Requirements
  • A relevant trade qualification with experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Telecommunications (Telstra/NBN) knowledge is advantageous.
  • The ability to read and interpret Telstra and NBN plans is advantageous.
  • Civil construction expertise, particularly in directional drilling, ploughing, and open trenching.
  • An understanding of residential and business cabling requirements.
  • A willingness to travel across the state.
