Expert Emergency Response Advisor

As a seasoned Emergency Management Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our clients in navigating the complexities of emergency management.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational health and safety, hazardous materials, emergency management, environment, and occupational hygiene. They will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing training sessions at client sites in emergency procedures for Wardens and Chief Wardens;
- Facilitating evacuation exercises of buildings and sites;
- Conducting site audits and developing documentation for new sites wherever possible;
- Offering technical consultancy to all clients; and
- Managing client relationships.
Desirable qualifications and skills include:
- A background in emergency management or fire-related expertise;
- Awareness of Australian Standards, particularly AS3745-2010, relevant WHS legislation, regulations, and codes of practice;
- Strong knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Ability to travel within Australia.
