**Role Overview**

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Outdoor Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Outdoor Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing green spaces across various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces in Queensland.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintaining and performing regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensuring lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Completing service requests as required
  • Adhering to safety protocols and procedures

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Previous experience in zero turn mowing and brush cutting of open spaces
  • A valid Manual Driver's Licence
  • A White Card
  • An ACDC licence (highly regarded)
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
