Strategic Product Specialist

We are seeking a strategic and delivery-focused Product Owner who will play a crucial role in delivering on our organization's purpose, vision, and strategic priorities. The focus will be on ensuring the integrity of our financial system and protecting consumers from harm.
This role involves collaborating with the Product Management Team to establish a Product Backlog, capturing and documenting business and functional requirements for our Platform applications. This will involve partnering with the Delivery Team to refine requirements and develop solutions aligned with business needs.
Key responsibilities include engaging with Product Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and Product Leads to build a comprehensive understanding of our business processes and operational requirements. You will also work closely with Delivery Teams to define acceptance criteria for solutions developed on the One ASIC Platform.
In addition, you will support Product Managers in coordinating business testing (UAT and PVT), including preparation, execution, and assisting business representatives during testing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product ownership or business analysis, supported by excellent stakeholder engagement skills. They will bring extensive experience in documenting and analysing business requirements, as well as a proven ability to translate complex needs into actionable solutions.
Key Requirements:
- A relevant bachelor's degree and/or proven experience in gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex business needs, resolve issues, and document effective solutions.
- Experienced in building and maintaining strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders.
- Proven ability in engaging with business stakeholders to elicit requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role would be highly advantageous.
