
Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team on a part-time basis.
About the RoleThis opportunity will see you work across a diverse mix of inpatient rehabilitation cases including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning and geriatric patients.
You may also care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation and conduct home visits.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services and exceptional patient care.
We have 2 part-time contract roles available:
- Temporary contract - Mat leave cover (9 months)
- Part-time contract - minimum 2 days per week

About YouTo be successful in your application, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of acute hospital experience
- A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrated autonomy
- Sound knowledge of My Aged Care systems and referral processes
