Job Title: Energy Policy Advisor

This role involves leading high-level research, analysis and review of complex policy, legislative and regulatory issues related to energy transformation. You will prepare submissions, briefing notes, legislation instructions, presentations, speeches, publications, reports and correspondence.

You must be able to manage competing priorities, work effectively as part of a team or individually and represent the department at conferences, meetings and committees.

In this environment, you will contribute to a positive team culture by participating in goal setting, service improvement and other activities. You will also mentor and coach staff in an environment that recognises individual contributions and encourages personal and team development.
