Research Scientist

We're seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Google, where you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in machine learning efficiency. As a Research Scientist, you'll be responsible for developing fundamental advances in algorithms and foundational model architectures that improve the speed of training and generalization of deep learning models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement novel algorithms and techniques to improve the efficiency of deep learning models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into production systems.
- Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of new algorithms and techniques.
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in research and development of machine learning algorithms.
- Strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale machine learning systems.
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks and tools.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services.
