Job Overview
Surgical technicians play a critical role in the success of surgical procedures. As a key member of the surgical team, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to surgeons and other medical professionals during operations. This involves setting up operating rooms with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies. You will also function as a scrub person throughout the procedure, ensuring that the surgical area is properly prepared and maintained.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A graduate degree from an accredited surgical technologist program
  • BCLS certification
  • Knowledge of surgical principles and skills
  • Current National Certified Surgical Technologist certification or certification as Certified Surgical Technologist preferred
  • Recent (or previous) operating room experience preferred
