Security and Property Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Security and Property Officer to join our team at a small Federal Government organisation based in Majura. This is an initial 12-month position with the opportunity for extension.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work across both property and security functions within the organisation. As part of a team of three, you'll split your time between managing the security clearances of the organisation, communicating with AGSVA, and overseeing the management of repairs and maintenance of the organisation's property and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the security clearances of the organisation and communicate with AGSVA as required
- Ensure compliance with the Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and identify security risks
- Acquire office equipment and oversee the management of repairs and maintenance of the organisation's property and equipment
- Be involved in security and property related projects
- Existing baseline security clearance and willingness to undergo an NV1 security clearance
- Ability to work across the security and property functions of the organisation
- Willingness to mostly work in the office with some flexibility for working from home
- Availability to commence within the next month
