About the Role
This exciting role offers the opportunity to utilise your security officer experience in an Embassy setting and contribute positively to the safety and security of all personnel on embassy grounds. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing customer service of the highest quality through your proactive, professional, and sound approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in protective activities with Diplomatic staff and VIP safeguarding
- Monitor CCTV footage and radio communication systems
- Provide first aid and liaise with Police & Emergency Response Services
- Review camera footage and write reports
- Conduct foot patrols throughout the premises
Requirements
- Certificate II in Security Operations and security licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Open driver's license
- Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High standards of presentation and grooming
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US clearance
- High level of fitness due to physical nature of role
