Security and Property Officer

We are working with a small Federal Government organisation to find an APS 6 Security and Property Officer. This is an initial 12-month position with the opportunity for extension. The organisation is open to bringing someone into their team as a labour hire contractor, an APS employee on a section 26 transfer, or an APS employee for a fixed-term in a non-ongoing position.
As part of a team of three, you'll split your time across both property and security functions within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include managing the security clearances of the organisation, communicating with AGSVA as required, and ensuring compliance with the Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). You will also assist in identifying security risks, acquire office equipment, and oversee the management of repairs to the organisation's property and equipment.
In order to have your application considered, you must be willing to work across the security and property functions of the organisation, have an existing baseline security clearance, and be willing to undergo an NV1 security clearance. You must also be willing to mostly work in the office, with some flexibility to work from home as required.
